Friends of Bocconi University (FoB) is a U.S.-based charitable organization (501(c)(3)) founded in 2013 to connect Bocconi Alumni and friends across the United States, while strengthening ties with Bocconi University in Milan.

At the heart of Friends of Bocconi is the belief that education, community, and philanthropy go hand in hand. To bring this vision to life, we are committed to three main objectives:

• Foster the community of Bocconi Alumni in the US: over 3,000 Bocconi Alumni live and work across the U.S. This number is even higher than 9,000 if we include participants in non-degree programs.

• Advance Bocconi’s reputation in the U.S.: we encourage American students to study at Bocconi and showcase the University’s international reputation.

• Encourage philanthropy and support education through giving: through the American Fund, Friends of Bocconi is dedicated to provide scholarships for Bocconi students. Our first campaign is already close to the $1M goal, thanks to the generosity of our Alumni and friends and this is just the beginning: we are already working on our next objectives to expand opportunities and support future generation of Bocconi’s students.

Let’s grow our community together! Friends of Bocconi is based in New York, where more than 800 Alumni live and work, but our commitment reaches far beyond. We want to connect with Bocconi’s Alumni and friends all across the U.S., creating new opportunities to stay in touch.

Today, Friends of Bocconi counts 9 active Chapters across the United States, from coast to coast, each bringing together local communities through events, networking, and initiatives that keep the Bocconi spirit alive.
