About the event
Bocconi Alumni Community Chapters open their doors to some of the 99 Alumnae featured in the Changed by Women project, with the goal of giving voice to their extraordinary stories and inspiring new generations around the world.
On April 26th, Changed by Women on the Road arrives to San Francisco at the Italian Innovation and Culture Hub to hear the story of the Bocconi Alumna Silvia Console Battilana - CEO of Auctionomics and winner of an Emmy for their groundbreaking $19 billion incentive auction that redefined the way television is produced, distributed, and consumed.
We are happy to count on the participation of Consul General Sergio Strozzi and Innovit Director Alberto Acito together with Bocconi’s Managing Director Riccardo Taranto. Silvia Console Battilana will talk and share insight on Tech, Innovation and Careero Development with Diego Piacentini, Founder of View Different.

About the Speakers:
Silvia Console Battilana: Bocconi Alumna and Stanford PhD, is CEO and co-founder of auction company Auctionomics along with Nobel laureate Paul Milgrom. Her company won an Emmy Award for its $19 billion artificial intelligence-driven spectrum auction in the U.S. Her next goal is to solve global water shortages with the same technology. Silvia is also a young global leader at the World Economic Forum.
Diego Piacentini: Founder of View Different. After 30 years with Apple and Amazon and an experience of 2 years serving as a civil servant with the Italian Government, Diego is a senior advisor for KKR and Exor Ventures and sits on the Boards of The Economist, Door Dash and two start-ups in education (Apolitical.co) and micromobility (Voi Technologies). He is also active in several non-profit programs.
